On Thursday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced the winners of the 2022-23 MAC Institutional Sportsmanship Awards. Messiah received both the men's and women's honors based on voting conducted by their conference peers. The Falcons swept both the women's and men's awards for the 12th time in department history. The MAC Institutional Sportsmanship Award was created to reward the outstanding overall sportsmanship at MAC institutions. The award began during the 2001-02 academic year. The award is voted on by the individual institutions' coaches, and is presented to a male and female athletic program in the MAC Commonwealth and MAC Freedom.
