USTFCCCA Names Seeland National Athlete of the WeekPublished by
On Tuesday morning, the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their weekly award winners and Messiah's Esther Seeland was honored for NCAA Division III women after a phenomenal effort at the Raleigh Relays. Seeland not only won her heat, but turned in the fastest time among a field of 123 runners in the 800 Meter with a time of 2:05.01. Seeland's time was the lowest in a field of Division I and professional athletes. The USTFCCCA National honor is the third of Seeland's career after she was named the National Athlete of the Week twice last season on April 13 and 27. Read the full article at: gomessiah.com
